Back again... Sorry it's been a while...
I've been quite busy over the last few days.
The weekend was a wonderful, good old-fashioned cure for homesickness. I was surprised last Thursday by an offer to go see a concert in Wichita, so I met my aunt, uncle and cousins up there for a brief visit. An exciting time was had by all, just like every family event. Lot's of laughing, shopping, and eating...lol
After a great lunch on Sunday, I was also able to see some friends from home who were in the city for the weekend.
Overall it was a lovely weekend, and now I only have three days and a pile of homework before I get to go home for a few days. I am so EXCITED!!!
I love home, because it's one of the few places on the planet that I can be myself and not get funny looks...well, I still get some funny looks, but they're all out of love.
There's just something about being in te place where you were born and raised that is comforting and peaceful.
All that said, I hope you all have a wonderful week. I know that I am going to at least have a great weekend...

I agree with you. Though I'm not going home I'm looking forward to the break in classes and homework for a few days.
ahhh yes home where the buffaloes roam.....taking a break is fun but don't let your mind check out too early.
